Terms of use
Last updated October 9, 2026
By using BigLift you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What BigLift is
BigLift helps you plan a drone build: it lists parts, checks whether they're compatible, estimates how the build will fly, and links to stores that sell the parts. We don't sell parts ourselves; purchases happen on the stores' own sites, under their terms.
Estimates and data are a guide
- Specs come from manufacturers and stores and can be incomplete or wrong. Compatibility checks only cover what our data and rules cover.
- Flight time, payload, range, agility and power are estimates from a model, not measurements of your drone. Real results depend on build quality, tuning, conditions and flying style.
- Prices and stock come from stores, change often, and may be out of date. The store's price at checkout is the one that counts.
Always confirm critical specs with the manufacturer before buying or flying. The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
Fly safely and legally
Drones and lithium batteries can cause injury, fire and damage. You are responsible for building, charging and flying safely, and for following the rules where you fly, such as registration, Remote ID and airspace restrictions (in the US, the FAA's rules). Compatibility notes about regulations are reminders, not legal advice.
Affiliate links
Some store links are affiliate links: the store may pay BigLift a commission when you buy, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never change which parts we suggest or how prices are ordered.
Your account and builds
- Keep your password safe; you're responsible for activity on your account. You can have up to 100 saved builds.
- Your builds are yours. Saved builds are private; anyone you send a share link to can open a copy of that build.
- Don't misuse the site: no automated scraping, attempts to break or overload it, or getting around rate limits and security.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, BigLift isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from relying on specs, estimates, compatibility results or prices, including parts that don't fit or work as expected. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Washington, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use BigLift after a change means you accept it.
